FRAGRANCE COMPOUNDER

Under supervision follows established formulas to determine amounts of raw materials needed to prepare fragrance compounds. Weighs or measures materials and mixes them is prescribed manner utilizing a variety of compounding equipment. Is responsible for the desired results and visually inspects compound to ensure consistency of color, viscosity, etc. Submits samples to Quality Control for approval. Completes all required paperwork. This job description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

 

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Forklift experience is required. Mathematical aptitude required, able to perform basic math calculations. Chemistry or chemical background desired. Ability to compound production batches efficiently and without error on a consistent basis. Computer knowledge is essential. Basic comprehension of chemical and physical hazard information and application of safety procedures as needed. Safe operation of material handling and packaging equipment on a consistent basis.

 

Must be able to read, write and speak English on a level needed to interact with other employees, as needed in the performance of work duties.

 


 

JUNIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Full Time or Part time Sample Technician Trainee. ENTRY LEVEL, WILL TRAIN. Duties include Compounding Fragrances for customer submissions. Will also Prepare bottle samples for shipping and stock and perform other tasks within the positional capacity and at the discretion of the Sample Lab Manager and Chief Perfumer.

INTERN/TRAINEE

Full time or Part time. The Intern will be affected to various Laboratory, Evaluation and Marketing positions. 3 or 6 month internship.

 

High school diploma with cosmetic or fragrance experience is a plus.


 

BUSINESS DEVELOPER


Localization: Mexico City

Goals and Objectives for Position:
This job is responsible for promoting and selling a variety of compound fragrances to major or key accounts as well as grow profitability and build long term client relationships.


Position Responsibilities:
Participate in developing strategies to satisfy business plan objectives, as well as to maximize sales opportunities;
Documents sales calls, enters and interprets briefs and communicates client requirements to their respective division, marketing and technical functions to ensure open communications so that customer requirements are understood and met;
Provides clients with general and specific information regarding fragrances development;
Conducts customers presentations and submits fragrance concepts;
Keeps abreast of competitive activities, prices, and develops and exploits new business oportunities;
Provides ongoing customer support and follow-up to ensure the timely shipment of orders and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications of Incumbent:
Bachelor's degree, MBA is a plus
3 to 5+ years of fragrance sales experience.
