Job description:

Under the direction of the Director of Evaluation, the position requires to be able to select from the collection and/or evaluate new fragrances in order to answer successfully customer requests and trend presentations. Involvement in brief management is also needed.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support the team of perfumers when requested during the creative process
  • Support the sales team and their various strategies
  • Strong awareness of most market categories and their olfactive trends, with strong emphasis on Air-Care, Personal Care, I&I and Fine Fragrances.
  • Ability to identify olfactive trends in above markets
  • Capacity to absorb customers’ needs and current products range
  • Close cooperation with marketing department
  • Supply the Marketing Department or the sales team with fragrance descriptions
  • Attend and/or conduct certain presentations to customers (in or out-of-site)
  • Support and participate in expert sensory panels
  • Coordination with the other company creative centers to ensure good exchange
  • Help ensure with brief management that deadlines are met when needed
  • Maintain various logs up-to-date as needed
  • Act in a supporting capacity in the absence of the Director of Evaluation or the Brief Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetics or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in fragrance evaluation or related experience
  • Knowledge of the basics of regulatory guidelines, fragrance raw materials and functionals fragrance components
